Above is the current UK top ten singles. The current number one by Rihanna is of the pop music genre. 70% of the top ten is pop music, this proves that the genre we have chosen is popular. This also proves that there is a market and audience for our genre, and as seven out of the top ten singles are pop music and dominates the top ten, the market is very mainstream.
